glendaGlenda VillajuanFounder & Director                                                                    Glenda has been a children’s advocate for almost 30 years.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education birth to 5 years old, and school age grades 1 and 2 from Touro College.  She also earned a Certificate for Child Care for Professionals from Bank Street College of Education.  She has worked as a preschool teacher at Northside Child Development Center in Manhattan, a therapeutic nursery serving children with varying levels of developmental needs.  She has taught at the Susan Patricoff Head Start and Early Head Start Program, Public School 102, Jacques Cartier Elementary School serving a group of 1st grade and 2nd graders.

Prior to teaching, Glenda served as legislative staff at the New York State Assembly in Albany, working on legislation helping children and families. She moved to New York City in 1993 to work directly with children and their families initially as Service Coordinator, then held various roles as Quality and Training Manager, Borough Director, Project Director and Consultant for New York City’s Early Intervention Programs, while employed at Public Health Solutions, TheraCare, and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.  In these various capacities,  she worked closely with developmental pediatricians, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other interventionists helping children at risk for developmental delays and disabilities.  She also served as Deputy Director for New York City’s Infant Child Program/Child Find responsible for identifying and monitoring approximately 5,000 infants/toddlers and preschoolers with special needs.

In 2001, she received the “Caring For Children” award for her work from the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families and the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award from Enterprise magazine for creating a greeting card company that featured Asian American children. Glenda has a daughter attending Binghamton University and a son attending New York Collaborative High School.

From a very young age, her passion and dedication to taking care of children was inspired from her babysitting jobs. Outside of Cititots, she enjoys reading, movies and painting.

20211031_152604Adrimely Dominguez – Lead Teacher                                                                     Adrimely Dominguez describes her best qualities are as optimism, passion, integrity, and self confidence. She is a very positive person and always does her best to obtain the best outcome. She highly values integrity, as well as being honest and transparent. Her self confidence helps her to be her best self day by day and makes Adrimely feel stronger because she believes and trusts herself and her abilities.

IMG_2073 (1)Towanda GrimesTeacher Assistant                                                                                        Ms. Towanda is a warm caregiver with twelve years of experience. She is a certified Teacher’s Aid, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of New Rochelle. 



Jennifer Lewis

Jennifer Lewis – Lead Teacher                                                                                            Ms. Jennifer has worked  in a DOE 3-K Program for the past four years. Prior to being a Lead Teacher, she worked in an Early Childhood Education 11 years as an Assistant Teacher and Summer Camp Coordinator. 


Kathy XuKathy XuTeacher Assistant                                                                              Kathy grew up in California, and has always had a passion and interest in working with children. She started off as a Sunday School Teacher, then moved onto babysitting and tutoring in private residences. She was also a Resident Assistant at an arts summer camp for pre-teens. Her most recent role was Assistant Teacher in the Kanga class at Manhattan Kids Club III, where she was responsible for engaging with the 3-4 year olds to promote an educational and fun classroom experience. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, going to the movies, taking walks along the water, and trying new restaurants (then writing reviews on Yelp).

Ms. Edith is a mom of two children, and has over 13 years as a Pre-K teacher in the Philippines. She has completed Child Development Associate training. Working with children inspires Ms. Edith to continue to share love and knowledge, as she believes that a “strong foundation of knowledge leads to a powerful and successful pathway to achieve one’s dream.”

Victoria KennonTeacher Assistant
Born with an affinity for loving and caring for kids, Victoria started working as a babysitter as soon as she was old enough and has worked with kids ever since. She studied Psychology at Concordia University, Film Photography at SVA and is now pursuing her Bachelors in Education at Brooklyn College. She worked as a Youth and Childcare Specialist at the New York Foundling before switching to more of an educator’s role here at CitiTots. When she’s not teaching Victoria enjoys the beach, dancing, cooking (and then eating), knitting lopsided socks and giving pep talks to her houseplant Tilly.

BruniBrunilda QuintanaTeacher Assistant
Bruni has over twenty-five years of experience in schools and daycares and, herself, has a very successful daughter and grandchildren. She has been with CitiTots since 2015 and provides the love and wisdom that can only come from a “grandmother.” Not only does she help the children, she also cares and nurtures the staff as well!

Ramon GilMarketing & Operations                                                                          Aside from maintaining the CitiTots website, the social media, the lights, supplies and all things electric and electronic, Ramon teaches marketing and graphics at SUNY Old Westbury and the Fashion Institute of Technology and he writes and draws comic books. He has also been a Teacher’s Assistant for the Long Beach Unified School District in California and is New York certified in food safety, CPR/first aid and child care.
